FAQ's for those wanting to hire a rock star car park?

When you complete a booking, the owner's contact details will be made available to you. If you are running late please inform the car parking space owner as they might be awaiting your arrival to grant you access in the event the space is protected by a security gate for example.
Prime Park is purely a service for matching drivers with parking space owners. We don't get involved with handing over swipe cards, keys etc. If the parking space requires the driver to use a key, swipe card, etc then it is up to the driver and the parking space owner to arrange the handing over of keys, etc. If the keys or swipe cards are lost by the driver then it is up to them to pay for the item.
We have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel with 24 hours’ notice you will only be charged a small booking surcharge. If your 3hrs into a 6hr booking and you decide you want to go home earlier we unfortunately can’t reimburse you for the 3 hours you haven’t used. Just like when coins have gone into the Parking Meter you have committed to pay for the full duration of your booking.
Double check it is the right address first, if your 100% sure it is please text us with the registration number and we will check for previous bookings. If there are have been no previous booking with that number plate we will assume it’s someone illegally parking. In this unlikely situation we cancel your booking and reimburse you.
As per our T&C's the welfare of the security of the car remains the legal responsibility of the member who accepted the offer.
If the driveway is long enough and you are not blocking any pedestrian footpaths or council parking regulations then go for it. Please check the dimensions of the driveway on the booking prior to submitting.
We do our best to ensure all the information is correct. Anyone with a complaint should notify us. Unsuitable spaces will be taken off our website immediately.

FAQ's for those wanting to hire out their driveway?

Contact us immediately and we’ll get in touch with the offending member as soon as possible to find out what has happened. Hopefully they won’t be too far away and the issue will be resolved quickly. Our automated reminder texts, late penalty fines and recommended 60min leeway should minimise the risk of this ever occurring.
Yes, you can rent out your driveway by the hour, by the day, week, month or year. Whatever suits you. We’ll establish a set day rate (0900-1700 Mon- Fri) and a set weekly rate (0900 Mon - 1700 Fri) to make it appealing to members searching for longer term parks.
We encourage all our members to use the rating system. A member who is rated poorly will struggle to gain access to parks in the future. Any complaints should be sent to us directly. We‘ll investigate further and make an assessment on whether to cancel the membership of the person who has offended repeatedly.
A bit like Airbnb, we rely on the community spirit and believe that most people will do the right thing by respecting other people’s property. We are unable to take liability for any damage caused but encourage all our members to be honest and cover the cost of repairs should any damage take place
If you have registered all your details on our system and have received an email to activate your account, you will be able to receive payments via PayPal. Once the member has made the booking and you have verified funds will be transferred as per PayPal’s standard payment terms.
You must make sure that there is adequate space for the vehicle and also space for the driver and any passengers to get in and out of the car safely. A vehicle must not cause an obstruction or intrude onto a public right of way.
If you don't want your parking space listed on Prime Park simply login, go to the 'Your Parking Spaces' section and edit the appropriate parking space. From here un-check the "Visible" checkbox and save the parking space and it will no longer appear on the web site. If your circumstances change in the future simply check the "Visible" check box and your parking space will appear agian.

The price you pick for your parking space depends on a number of factors, such as, location, availability, the type of space. When you add a new space we will suggest a price based on other parking spaces in your area. Another idea is that you check your price is lower than on-street and off-street parking in your area. At the end of the day you can charge what people are willing to pay.
If you know that you will need to use your space and don't want it available for that time you can use the Availability section to stop drivers from booking it. If you don't want it available on particular days of the week you can un-check the appropriate checkbox and your space won't be available for that day. If you want a more specific option you use the Your Booking section in Availability and select the start and end dates for when you want to use it.
